I've had several date meetings with foreigner in St.Petersburg, home city of mine.

I cannot say that those dates do much differ compared to the similar meets with the Russian men.

There are some peculiarities - though not so with everyone; however such a details usually don't actually determine cases of the dates. So, dear foreign "grooms" of ours, I intend to advice you a bit concerning the best possible stile of your behavior aimed to get your "pray" at the first rendezvous already.

1.To avoid the most serious mistake possible, never submit a hundred-years-old photos! Then, a girl will be definitely surprised with an obvious difference between yours expected image and a real one.

There is traditional Russian saying that "women fall in love throughout their ears" although I never seen anyone of that sort here, really. In my opinion, man is getting beloved, first of all, for his actions in Russia.

In addition, it will be negatively valuated if you lie about your real age. I had such an experience, and despite the overall positive impressions I was unable to forgive such a lie. If you want to make something like that, just try to substitute yourself in place of such a girl…I am pretty sure that you men don't like to be in such a situation. That is the same with us, women.

2. By the way, there is one point that cannot be easily understood due to our different traditions. Probably, these things might often determine your rather negative vision on Russian women.

You have to put on a false front a bit, meaning to let her know about your appropriate economic situation and, also, that you're ready to take care on her. This is really of the high importance. It doesn't matter, if that particular woman reach or poor herself; this little trick works for everyone. How to do it? I am talking about bringing flowers! This will give you many credits at once. I don't recall all my dates, but I'll always remember John from Chicago, who used to present flowers anytime we met. Thank you, John!

At second, place to meet is important. I resemble really well one cheap bistro where I dared to order only a bottle of water. I understand that you maybe over-occupied with many dates and it puts some limitations on arranging all of them at the luxury restaurants. However, it is not at all problematic to find inexpensive, yet proper and cozy cafe. Just spend five minutes to prepare or offer her to choose the place she likes.

At third, it is used to take care about girl's return home. Help her to get a cab at least at the late time. You will also attract her by fixing a phone call afterwards and asking her if everything all right with her. Good Luck!
